Account Deletion

We're sorry to see you go. This guide provides the necessary steps to permanently delete your account and all associated data.

Warning

Account deletion is a permanent and irreversible action. Once your account is deleted, all your short links, QR codes, bio links, and personal information will be permanently removed from our systems.

Instructions to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account from your user settings page. Please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Linkde account. If you are not already logged in, you can do so here.
  2. Navigate to the Settings page. You can find this link in the user dropdown menu at the top right of the page.
  3. Scroll down to the "Danger Zone" section at the bottom of the settings page.
  4. Click the red **"Delete My Account"** button.
  5. A confirmation dialog will appear. To confirm, you may need to follow the on-screen instructions.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

  • Your user profile, including your email, name, and profile picture, will be deleted from Firebase Authentication.
  • All of your data stored in our database, including short links, QR codes, and bio link configurations, will be permanently deleted.
  • Your public bio page and any associated short URLs will no longer be accessible.
